Post subject: Home Network Problem
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>networking (more info?)

I have 4 pcs at home networked with 10mb phoneline cards. One machine runs
win 2kpro with a cable internet connection that is shared. 2 of the other
pcs use winxp home, the 4th uses win 98se. Everything works well except
between the win2kpro & the 98se computers. These computers will see the
other in Network Neighborhood or Computers near me. However, it is not
possible to access the win2k computer from the 98se machine and vice-versa &
if I try I'll get a message that the network path was not found. Internet
connect sharing works on all pcs except the one with 98se.

I haven't been able to find an answer as yet. Any help is much appreciated.
