I just tried to install a third SATA hard drive and Windows won't recognize
it. The other two are hooked up to the Intel SATA controller. I've never
used the Silicon Images controller yet. The SI screen at boot up doesn't
recognize it either. I have two IDE HDs hooked up also (Primary/Secondary
IDE channels) , plus an IDE burner (Primary channel). I'm using BIOS 2.0.
Everything is enabled correctly in the BIOS, as far as I can tell. Do I
have a four HD limit or something? I want to get rid of the two IDE HDs,
but want to move everything off them to the new SATA HD.

No. Are you sure you've got the drive powered up correctly? Have you loaded
the Windows drivers for the Silicon Image controller?

I have the little blue conductor dude in my taskbar. The Silicon Images
controller is listed in the device manager, showing working properly. The
drive has power (as far as I can tell). I might pull my two IDE HDs and see
if it works. I had trouble before when I had 3 IDE HDs installed and didn't
have "Bus Mastering" on.
