I'd try clearing the CMOS and then be sure not to have any CPU overtemp or
CPU Fan protections enabled in the bios setup, assuming that the system will
boot to let you get into the setup.

otherwise, it almost has a power supply type of problem feel to it...

Have you tried a cmos reset? or try booting whilst holding the <insert> key.

you presume right, I can even get into the bio Sad, i've got a new 450
watt power supply so it can't be that. I think is something to do with
the memory voltage.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

well, we all advise setting the ram voltage up to 2.7 (or possibly even a
little more in some cases) on the IC7 and IS7 series. just because you have
a 450 watt PS doesn't mean that it cannot be the cause of a problem.

Abdi just a quick question, when you say i was using a corsair XMS3200 then
tried a corsair XMS4000, tried that in Dimm 1, did'nt boot tried it on dimm
3 you are using two sticks of memory at the same time, in dimm 1/dimm 3 or
dimm 2/dimm 4. Aslo do you get any post error beeps with no memory
installed.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

There are 2 power plugs on the mobo the normal atx one and a small square
one, do you have both connected?

people at the retailer that i got the mobo off, tested it. i think they
used normal DDR 400, weird thing is that when i tried it again it booted
up with the corsair xms3200. i don't know whats going on here, one
minute is works the next it does'nt. i think i should update the bios. i
also set the DRAM voltage to 2.7<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
