Ok here is my issue. I got this laptop with windows 2000 I also have this
TecNew PC LAN Card but I dont have the installation cd for it. I googled and
searched but to no avail... Anyone know how I can install this so I can have
wireless internet? I already called my internet provider and they already set
up the wireless internet on my side all I have to do is install this PC CARD
I called DELL. They said I have to contact the manufacturer because of some
other bull. When I put the Wireless card in I get a pop up (FOUND NEW
HARDWARE) my specific issue is that there's a list and i dont know what to
pick. I know its foggy but if anyone has ANY idea please let me know thanks.

Get a copy of Everest, and see what shows in the Device section.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4181

For example, if I look in Devices:PCI, I can see my LAN chip listed
as:

Device ID: 8086-1019
Subsystem ID: 1043-80F7

You can look up PCI device ID's here.

http://pciids.sourceforge.net/v2.2/pci.ids

If I look up my 8086-1019 chip, this is what it lists.

82547EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller

So check the enumeration first, and post the numbers.

If it is PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_2003 (i.e. 1022-2003) then there
is a driver here. Don't bother to download this file, unless
you have a match.

Tecnew appears to have been a contract manufacturer, and the website
is gone now. This is a sample of an archived copy. No drivers I can see.
Which is why tracking down the enumeration is where I'd start.
