I just got a new "used" processor and a new "used" motherboard. After installation, I booted Win 2k and got a Stop message that states I have a ACPI Compatibility issue. System: 733Mhz 133 FSB Slot 1 Iwill VD133 BIOS=2A6LGI3C Samsung 256MB PC133 Ram Matrox 16MB AGP 3DFX Voodoo 3 16MB PCI Maxtor 80GB 7200 IDE Lite-on 40x8x32x CD-RW Compaq 52x CD-Rom 3com 3C905b 10/100 PCI Turtle Beach Mont. Bay PCI Unknown 56k modem PCI I pulled the win 2k harddrive and replaced it with a Red Hat 7.3 Linux harddrive. I was able to get it to boot to command line but X (gui) would not start even after startx command was given.
