I just purchased a P5WD2-Premium Mobo. I'm trying to figure out how to
install RAM to enjoy Dual Channel capabilities. I've read the manuel and
I'm confused. In the manuel it says to install DIMM_A1+DIMM_A2 = DIMM_B1
+DIMM_B2. Does that mean I install the RAM in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1? Or Do
install the RAM in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2? Thank You.

Install them in the 2 blue sockets.

The two 'channels', are 'A', and 'B'. For dual channel to work, the total
fitted in channel A (A1+A2), has to match what is fitted in channel B
(B1+B2). This is what the part you are reading in the manual is saying.
With just two memories, you fit one in A1, and one in B1, and this then
gives A1+A2(nothing), matching B1+B2(nothing).

Best Wishes

Thank you. That is what I thought, But I just wasn't certain. Before I
got too bogged down with things, I thought I'd ask the experts to make
sure I'm on the right track. Once again, Than You.

It's not just that the totals have to match. The individual modules in
the corresponding sockets have to match. And it's not just the size
that has to match, the entire internal architecture and timing (speed)
of the modules has to match also.
