I am having a problem with C&C Generals, the map ocasionally blacks
out for a second in random areas. I have tried installing the latest
nVidia drivers and I have also tried going back to the 45.xx version
of the drivers with no success. I am running a P4 3.06ghz, 512ram,
nVidia GForce FX 5700 with 256ram. Is this a driver issue? Or could it
be something else? Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like a driver problem. Does this happen online or offline or both?
Is there a common instance when this happens? 45.xx might be too old for
the game, but I can't say I have ever seen a problem like this on any system
of mine.
