only support RAID configurations with the external port or can I use the
internal for just one SATA drive? TIA,

P5B lan port bad ? - trying to determine if the onboard lan is bad: I can't find other computers on home based network thru a D-Link router. Win2K reports lan is enabledd and working, when cable is unplugged it knows it. It lights up like it should according to manual. ..

K8N - no audio out rear port - I've just set up a K8N with winxp pro, and most items seem to do well. However I don't get any sound out of the rear line out port, the lime one. The case I'm using has front ports wired up for mic and output and they work fine. I had updated the nvidia....

A8N-SLI-serial port erratic - For some reason the one serial port on this board behaves erratically. I only have one application requiring that port. At times after a restart, that program (a weather station) reports that it cannot contact the sensors which report via the rs232..

Asus A7N8X-E and 2nd Serial Port - I have a need to use 2 serial ports. I found several old serial port connectors and tried to connect and use them on the A7N8X-E. They connected just fine but the second port is never recognized. As far as I know serial port pin-outs have not changed....
