Post subject: K7S5A PRO uses VIA drivers ?

My motherboard is a K7S5A PRO (5.0)
and using Windows XP home, with latest updates.
In device manger I have listed "VIA ver 5 or later USB Universal Host
Companion Controller"
Does this motherboard use VIA chips for USB ?

The USB 2.0 chipset is VIA. The rest of the chipsets are SIS

That threw me for a loop too, when I saw that the Device Manger ID'd the
USB as via. I took a look at the board, and yes, there is a VIA chip on
there.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
