I just took a sound card out of my Soyo K7vta (not pro just
plan version) and decided to try the on board sound. It works just
fine. Trouble is I hate that beep it makes when starting the
computer. I know it is telling me all is normal because it is a quick
one beep sound at boot up. With a sound card place in the board,
I never got this sound. With using the on-board sound it;s there.
So, can this sound be disabled somewhere?

Thanks.

I have the K7VTA Pro. I'm not sure if this will work for you but here's a
solution someone sent to me for the K7VTA Pro.

now maby a have the solution. I will test it today. You must change the
resistors R107=1k and R113=4k7
If you remove the R107 you will never hear the speakertone at the line
out..i hope so..
