Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>abit (more info?)

I'm trying to get the serial number off my v1.0 KT7A-RAID motherboard and I
can not seem to locate it. I've looked all over the top of the board and
all I can find is the barcode which I'm assuming is not the correct serial
number.

I've tried SiSoft Sandra and it does not display any Extended Motherboard
Information like it does with others with KT7A boards. I've also tried a
program called Belarc Advisor which listed loads of interesting info but no
motherboard serial number.

Anyone have any clues where the serial number is? Please don't say
underneath the board cause that means I'll have to disassemble everything Sad

Thanks.

There should be a barcode sticker on the topside of the motherboard at the
bottom LHS left of the ISA slot.

See the KT7A FAQ at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.sudhian.com/showfaqs.cfm?fid=2" target="_blank">http://www.sudhian.com/showfaqs.cfm?fid=2</a>
No longer maintained, but still full of useful info.
