Post subject: What Laptop WiFi Network Card Sems to have the best range?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>networking (more info?)

I've got the Microsoft Wireless router connected to DSL. The router
seems to have decent enough range with a desktop wireless card. The
problem is that the laptop Microsoft seemed to have almost no range.
Swapped it for a LinkSys card, with some improvement, but still not
enough range. I'm looking for about 150 feet max...anyone got any
ideas on improvements?

If swapping the laptop card is an option, whick one should I look or?

Thanks in advance....Burger
