I've got two sticks of PC3200 Kingstron 512MB DDR. One is the Value-select
and the other is the Xtreme edition. How far can I push this RAM (in
dual-channel) and what would be the best BIOS settings to use (as to chipset
voltage, RAM timing/voltage settings, CPU disconnect) etc. Thanks in
advance. If there's a FAQ on this I'll gladly read that as well.

Ram timings: start at 10-3-3-2.5 (or 2.0, whatever the ram is rated at).
At >220fsb, 12-3-3-2.5
CPU page: everything user-defined, disable spreadspectrum, raise Vchipset &
Vmemory to max settings, bump Vagp a notch.
On PCHealth page, enable Temp Shutdown at about 65C, Warning at 63C or so.

If your going to experiment with pushing your memory to it's limits,
and your using winxp, then a word of caution. You can easily corrupt
the operating system installation when your having memory errors. You
might either (1) back up your system before experimenting or (2) set
up a dual boot winxp installation. I've got a dual boot setup. The
advantage with that is that one can "test" software with the secondary
winxp installation before installing on your primary winxp
installation.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'm NOT going to be experimenting. I did manage
to get up to 203Mhz FSB and it seems stable so I think I'll leave it at
that.
