Post subject: Netgear PS-110 Printer Share device and network storm
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>networking (more info?)

I have a Netgear PS-110 printer sharing device connected to a Netgear
switch DS-116. I noticed the other day that the port light on the
switch the PS-110 is connected to is constantly flashing. The
collisions light is on a lot.

I eliminated any cable, jack or switch port issues by connecting a new
cable between the PS-110 and switch on a different switch port. Same
issue. Disconnected the printers and the problem persists.

The receive light on the PS-110 is very active.

I unplugged all other devices on the network and the problem persists.
Looks like the PS-110 and the switch have something going on.

Thoughts?
