It looks like newegg has tightened up their return policies. I bought an
LCD TV from them a while back and do not remember the 'no return' policy, if
they had it back then.

However, now they have a category of items, including TVs which essentially
say, if your item is defective, talk to the manufacturer.

well it is normal with regular stores after 30 days to have you contact the
manufacture for a defective product unless you have an extended warranty
with the store.
Some stores have to do this by state law or else you would go right to the
manufacture for warranty service.
