I just bought a Nikon camera with battery charger MH-18a. It charges lithium
ion batteries. My question is about charging the battery. Can I put the
battery on charge when it is half full to top it off or do I have to drain
it completely before charging it. Some people have told me it will develop a
memory from doing this, others say the battery won't develop any memory. Any
comments?

Thanks!

I charge batteries for a Nikon camera when they are half full or any
fraction of full. Never had a problem.

Just recharge it before you need it, or else you might have a bad
memory of that!
