Use NiMH rechargeables, they will last a lot longer! I recommend
getting 2 sets and a (fast) 3-4 hour charger that is somewhat
"clever" in the way it charges the NiMH cells in seperate channels
and only trickle-charge them after they're done recharing.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
