Does anyone know of any inherent problems with the older olympus
cameras? Actually it's not that old, only 3 years, but in todays
terms I guess that would be. Anyhow, it just will not do anything at
all. No lights, no lens movement, nothing..... The batteries are
putting out power to the circuit board, I took off the back and put a
meter across the battery terminals. I also manually pushed the on-off
switch. Nothing happens at all. It's a Olympus D-550. Anyone have
any ideas why or what could be wrong. I already know it would cost
more to repair than to replace, but I have some electronics experience
and will tinker with it, if I can think of anything else to try.
