I have a P35 Neo2 and various utilities show there are two temp
sensors on board.

Does anyone know where these are on the board, and what they are
reporting?

One seems to be related to the CPU core tempatures leading me to think
it's under the CPU socket.

The other I am not sure of. It's higher than the CPU temp at idle,
but lower than the CPU temps at load.
