P4 vs Athlon

Should I buy a P4 or Athlon board? I'm looking at a 2800+ Athlon but
have heard that the eqivalent P4 is faster because of the FSB. What do
you reckon?

You may wish to consider tha Athlon_64 which is superior (cool 'n'
quiet; 64 bit).
