For the p5k Premium, the chipset utility has been a problem like i have
already stated constantly asking me to make a floppy disk for raid.

I don't need raid, can I BYPASS the chipset utility in both Vista and XP and
still get native functionality for 8 sata ports on ther MB?

Is the chipset utility the drivers for the SATA ports, and if it is, how, if
i need to insyall it can i bypass making a raid disk (No floppy disk drive
here anyhow)

Jeff

You have a great amount of courage to admit that. Wink
I'll bet that nearly everyone (including me) have made mistakes of this
nature. Hope the rest of your install goes well.
