i just bought a new dell and i absolutely despise the 2d performance
of the nvidia-based card that came with it. i had a millenium G200
in my previous box and loved its 2d crispness, but of course it
didn't hold up for the small amount of gaming i do.

i'm on the verge of springing for a P650. it seems to have all the
specs i need. please advise: will i be happy with the 2D
performance (most important) AND will it provide enough umph to play
games such as "baldur's gate 2" and "black & white"??? i'm not
asking too much, am i? no first-person shooters for me!

Smile

In my opinion, a P650 would do well for you then.

If ever thinking of FPShooter, (they are the best games Smile )
then go with Parhelia to get acceptable performance<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
