It should be ok with that board. I have the GA-M59SLI-S4 and know it works
on this

Hi I have the GA-M58SLI-S5 so you think it would work there also. Isee the
CPU list for the s4 and s5 boards on gigabyte site say not supported, but if
you say you know it works I will go ahead and get one.
