Could you help me ?
I have CRC fault, when i install sofware with my CD ROM, but I don't have
fault, when i disable OnChip Serial ATA.

I have HDD UDMA on IDE1 Master, CDROM on IDE2 Master, and HDD SATA on IDE3
Master.
In Bios Menu OnCHIP Serial ATA is in Enhanced Mode, i dont use RAID
I use the last Intel INF v5.02.1003

Do you have an idea ?

in that mode, I *thought* my experience was that no SATA drivers were
required but I might be incorrect so what I would do is to try hitting F6
when you see the prompt at the bottom of the screen in the early install
stages, and have the SATA drivers available on floppy.

before doing that though, I'd make sure the board is at the most recent bios
version available and then get the newest SATA drivers from the Intel web
site.

Upgraded to AMD XP processor, now windows slower! - Hi, I have an Abit Kt7a mobo and just upgraded my 1.33 GHz processor to a 1800XP (happily running at 2GHz). Abit AI7 - Yet another NB failure, but a different question - Yes, the stock NB fan on my AI7 is showing signs that it will soon fail. I'm in the U.S., so I don't want to go the route of either RMA'ing my board or buying the same unreliable fan from Abit. I know most would recommend replacing the fan with the Zalma...
