Post subject: Recover almost overwritten files
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>storage (more info?)

Greetings.
I mistakenly started to "create multisession" on a cd that I
wanted to preserve. Realizing I had the wrong cd in the drive I
cancelled the operation.
Now when the cd is placed in the drive, all that is seen is the
two files I mistakenly tried to burn onto it, (though I can't do
anything with the files, like copy them back to the hard drive).
Using Nero 6.15 I tried to repair the database on the cd, but it
failed. Nero DOES see the previous sessions when I click on "cd
info".
Is there a way to repair the table of contents and/or retrieve the
files that are on the cd? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
