I need to have a PCI slot which doesn't share IRQs with others
but up until now I was not able to do this on this board...every
slot seems to share IRQs?! Unfortunately, Tyan doesn't provide
any info in the manual.

TIA for all replies!

what you can do is unload your system-type driver and load it in as
'standard Pc'. In device manager, see what it says under 'computer'. If its
anything but 'standard pc' then your Os will use auto-irq config which is
the problem. Theres a number of ways you can get arpound this, but I found
this way to be the best. Setting computer-type to standard pc lets YOU
choose what irq's go where.

Activate APIC in BIOS - this feature expands the number of IRQs;

which Operating System do you use?

if WinNT/2K/XP/2K3 use the MPS (Uni/Multi)Processor HAL
