Post subject: S2865G2NR fan headers
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>tyan (more info?)

All the fan headers on my new board will take a 3 or 4 pin fan connector. On
newer Intel's the fans have a 4-pin header for automatic speed control. Am I
right to assume that my board is setup the same way? I haven't seen an AMD
fan with a 4-pin connector yet but would like to use this feature if it'll
work the same as the Intel ones. I've setup a machine with an Intel like
this and the auto speed control worked really well, at least for the person
I put it together for. Any info and suggestions are welcome
Thanks
Mark
