I am trying to install Windows XP Home on my new Shuttle SB61G2, but Windows
does not recognize the drive. There doesn't appear to be SATA drivers on the
Shuttle CD. I've enabled the BIOS On-Chip Serial ATA Setting (the default is
Disabled), trying Auto, Combined and Enhanced. Still nothing. The drive
doesn't appear to show up in the BIOS.

Any assistance is appreciated.

I believe , my last SB61G2, needed to be in enhanced mode for the 120g
seagate SATA to show in the bios

if you can't see in in your bios -- XP will not install

after I tweaked around in the bios -- so it was seen -- XP pro installed ok

you need to be care tath the data cable and power cables do not come loose
when you push the cage thing back in place
