Post subject: SB65G2 Issues
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>shuttle (more info?)

New SB65G2, just assembled, won't even post although it makes the right
noises when powering up. Anyone else had video issues like this? celeron &
768 MB RAM under hood.

Is the cpu installed correctly? all the pins inserted all the way? same w.

SB65G2 CPU support - Hi, I have just bought a XPC in the SB65G2 version, and have seen on its CPU support list that it doesn't support the Willamette core CPU's. Does anyone know if that also counts for the ones that uses the Socket 478 design, like the Celeron 2400..

ShuttleX: SB65G2, a few questions - I bought and built this machine up over the week-end and all it running pretty well. I installed a 2.6Ghz P4 and wanted to use 2 sticks of Kingston HyperX KHX3200/512. I have two immediate problems. The machine will not run correctly with 2nd DIMM..

How big of a PCI card will fit into the shuttle? (SB65G2) - I think the answer is no but... I have an AccessDTV card for HDTV and its a full length card, at least it's pretty darned long. Anyone know if this think will fit in the Shuttle, or any other Small Form Factor PC for that matter? This is the only..

Got an SB65G2 for Xmas - questions - I have a Shuttle SB65G2 which I outfitted with a DVD-ROM, 60GB IDE hard drive, Radeon 7500 video card and a Mitsumi floppy/Card reader combo. I'm running WinXP SP1. The Mitsumi fits a single 3.5" floppy and 6-in-1 card reader in a single 3.5"...
