I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to change the BIOS
setting to make the SB81P fans run most quietly, yet also be able to run
faster if the system gets hot. I see in Advanced BIOS features the
section on Thermal management. But I don't know what to change or how to
change it. What is the difference between Thermal Monitor 1 and Thermal
Monitor 2? There's TM2 Bus Ratio and TM2 Bus VID. Do these settings
affect the fan? What are safe choices here? I don't want to do anything
that would hurt the system. But if there's a safe way to make the fans
run quieter most of the time, that would be great.
Thanks
Timo

Do you have the most recent BIOS? Shuttle has been fiddling a bit with
the fans in the last update(s)...
