Post subject: SD card "emulator"

Hello,

I have a logging device that logs data to an SD card in a built in socket. This device operates on a proprietary OS that cannot have drivers installed and has no other method of interface.

Has anyone found any hardware that allows a PC to emulate an SD card and write the data sent to the sd card to a file or to a partition that acts as the SD card?

I can open the logger and attach a device to the pc board so the interface does not need to be able to plug into an SD card slot.

I have never seen and hardware/software like this. Any help would appreciated.

Eric
