Post subject: A*N-SLI Preium - Plays a tune through PC Speaker!
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>asus (more info?)

My A8N-SLI Preium has suddenly started playing a short tune through
the PC internal speaker. The tune starts with a drum riff then plays
a few bars of a rather banal tune. It is always the same tune.
Sometimes repeated a few times without stopping - sometimes cut off in
the middle of a bar. There does not seem to be a regular pattern.

Could this be a fan speed or CPU temperature warning? If so I do not
believe it.

Fan speed warnings are OFF in the BIOS and my CPU temperatures are low
(Mother Board Monitor is showing 32C).

Help!
