Assembled one of these computers. Installed XP-Pro and updated completely.
Sent it off to a friend who reports the computer is fine excpt no audio from
either the front or rear jacks. She is pretty computer aware. RealTek AC'97
drivers are installed and enabled in BIOS. Is there anything you guys can
suggest that would help me avoid having to get the computer back from half
way across the country?

I'm assuming she's using amplified speakers.

According to a message board on an online suppliers I use, some of them
shipped without the cable to the front jacks plugged into the
motherboard. Apparently it stops the rear from working as well.
