I just got a ST61G4 delivered yesterday, and it is the coolest pc I have
ever seen. It looks like a toy compared to a mid-tower. I can't wait to get
it up and running. I'll be using mine as a Home Theater PC with a satellite
pci card to recieve free to air satellite. My question is: will I have any
problems running a Intel Prescott P4 3.0 Ghz cpu? I hear that they do run
hot and was thinking on getting a northwood instead. I can hold my xpc in
the palm of my hand, that's how small it is, which you guys already know
being owners of xpc's. I just can't stop thinking how small and cool they
look.

Welcome to the club. The cooling is quite good but you need to ensure
you leave plenty of clearance around the sides/rear. I relocated mine
recently and there's only an inch of clearance around the sides of the
case to the desk and it made a fair bit of difference to the temps.
Still works fine but is a bit hotter than before.

running with Prescott P4 and WinXP SP2 .... check out readmeft61.htm at
