Anyone know if the ST62K can run Windows Vista? A bit early to worry about this, perhaps, but still - any Vista Beta testers out there with an ST62K?

hi,
i have an st61g4 and i ran into vista installation problems because MS
didn't bundle SATA drivers. i suspect the only problem you'll run into
is SATA drivers at setup. there is lots of discussion on SATA drivers
in the winfx newsgroups, a few people have got it working with SATA,
but for all the hassle i think i'll just wait for the release version
which will hopefully have them bundled, no need to go messing with
floppies and slip-streaming drivers. we shouldn't have to do that in
this day and age.
good luck
tim

ST62K problems... - Hi, I have set up a Shuttle ST62K wit a 3 GHz P4 Northwood, 2x256 MB Corsair PC3200 (XMS3200LL, also tried with a single Corsair PC3200 512MB) and a Hitachi 7K250 250GB P-ATA-drive. Installing Windows XP is without any trouble, but after the install I....

Using a mobile CPU with the ST62K - I recently bought an STK62K shuttle, and a Celeron 320D CPU, but after doing a little googling, I found that the chipset on the shuttle MB (ATI RS300) might support Pentium-M and Celeron-M CPU's. Have anyone tried booting the Shuttle with one of these..

ST62K: max. HD size? - I would like to fit a bigger hard disk to my ST62K (currently a Samsung 120GB drive). Can the BIOS/chipset support a drive over the 137GB limit? I want to do a clean installation of WinXP on that drive, so I have to be able to partition and format it..
