Set Synaptics Touchpad OFF at boot enabled by button if needed HP
ZD7000

HP ZD7000 Windows Media Center Edition 2004

I don't want to disable the touchpad in case I'm some place and forgot
my USB mouse but I would like it to be OFF by default at boot up. I
find myself forgetting to turn it off and my cursor doesn't seem to
follow my mouse if I jiggle the PC in my lap till I realize the touch
pad is on.

Is there a Windows Registry Setting that could control this?
