Hello

Following my purchase of a Toshiba XM-1602b (ebay of course), I
fitted it to my MINI-ITX computer, and found it almost unusable due to
the spindown problem, even when constantly accessing this drive.. I
found a utility called Toshiba Cool Tool, which was (under Win95)
supposed to be able to change the spindown time of this drive. I now
use XP on this computer, and therefore cannot use this software. Is
there _any_ software which will actually change this ?

Thanks,

al.

Nero Drivespeed, CDBremze...

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.ahead.de," target="_blank">www.ahead.de,</a> download package of Nero, install it, and use only Drivespeed
(it is located in Toolkit folder of Nero)... If it detects your Toshiba
fine, it'll work OK...
