Is it possible to redirect devices such that they think they are
writing to a CD burner but are actually writing to a hard drive
location? Similar to the old Dos ASSIGN command?

e.g. The idea is to create a hard disk folder, C:\fake_CD\ that will
be recognized by the software as D:, a CD burner. THen when it writes
to what it thinks is D: it is actually writing to C:\fake_CD.
