When I try to play a DVD or CD on my DVD Player/Writer, it's somewhat smooth
for a few second and then seems interrupted briefly. I took the DVD unit out
and put it in another machine, and it sounds fine. What's up with my MB that
could cause this?

Asus P5ND2-SLI No sound in left speaker - I'm having a very strange problem with my sound. I plugged in my 2 channel speakers system into the green port and all I get is sound from the right speaker. So I downloaded the latest drivers from Realtek 5.10.0.6120 and then I get sound out of both..
