I have a FIC VB-610-V (VIA Appollo Pro+ chipset) motherboard and have problems installing Windows XP. Seems to be a BIOS issue. My motherboard is: PCB is a version 1.3 BIOS: QC617 At FIC's home page newer versions of BIOS (QF4129, QF611 and QF612) is available and listed as supporting PCB 1.4. I'm in doubt, if these newer BIOS also supports FBC 1.3. Any having experience upgrading a FCB 1.3 to one of the mentioned BIOS?
