Post subject: Video-in on GF4
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

I have a GForce 4 Ti 4200 card with 128mb DDR (MSI StarForce). At the back
of the card there is a connector (don't know its formal name) on which goes
a yellow plug with a cable that splits in two and gives one RCA jack (for
the audio I guess) and one S-video plug. My question is this: Recently I
noticed a small embossed sketch of two arrows on both the S-video plug and
the yellow connector on the other end of the cable that plugs in on the
card. One arrow is pointing "out" of the card and the S-video plug and the
other is pointing "in". I can understand the "out" arrow, but what about the
"in" arrow? As far as I know my card does not have video-in, so what about
it?

Thanx in advance for any comments.

Audio does not go through the video card. The yellow rca jack is for video
in or out.
