bios problem

My motherboard is a biostar m6tbc.
When reboot the system bios some times not detected my CD-RW drive.
CD-RW drive is only on secondary ide(master).

What are possible reason?

Don't use cable select setting on CD-RW jumper (if that's the case), instead
try master.
