Does anyone know where I can find a bios upgrade for this old dinosaur ?
I've searched the net everywhere and can't find nothing. The model number
is AV7543 rev 1.2 The bios string is 12/23/94-SIS-85C471B/E/G-2C4I9000-00

It's a 486.
Why do you think any BIOS can improve your system? It's very old for it.

Look very closely at the motherboard and report back with what is written on
it.

Somewhere there should be something written that is manufacturer based.
Could be the actual name or model number.
The more info the better.

It's a FYI, Full Yes Industrial motherboard.
They are out of business many years ago.
There are no technical support for it.
