I note that Ghost 2003 launched from floppies will work on USB2 ports
from the motherboard, but will not work on USB2 PCI cards, at least for
me.

Aside from the obvious fact that they are different, can someone
explain in not-tooooo-technical terms why one works and the other
won't?
