You may have problems with the CD. Verify that it is bootable on another
"working" machine.
Don't let this stop your linux install. You can make a boot disk...
which Linux distribution are you using? Red Hat? If so, you can use
rawrite.exe on the CD (dos/ subdir) to make a floppy disk image.
