Post subject: Any way to boot to Xp comand line from HD,Not CD?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>storage (more info?)

Would love to find a way to stop using the cdrom boot disk
to get to the recovery console.

Boot from HD?
Boot from memory stick-USB?

Run setup, there is an option to install to HD.

Bart's Win PE will do both, with simple GUI instead of text-only.
