Post subject: boot screen text
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware (more info?)

I run 2 desktops into a Samsung 215tw widescreen lcd.

First and old comp is set up DVI out to DVI in on the monitor. When in boot
mode all the text is within the screen boundary.

Second and new comp is set up DVI/VGA Adapter to VGA in on the monitor. When
it boots the text overflows beyond the viewable area on the screen.

While I can see the important bits it would be nice to get it all in the
black.

any help appreciated.

thanks
dj
