Hi Group,

Considering upgrading to an FX5950 256MB Ultra from XFX.

Has anyone had any experience of XFX gfx cards? I am not massively
impressed with MSI cards and their lack of availablity of BIOS images.

Cheers,
Joe.

I've been using a XFX 5700 Ultra Dual DVI. Seems very solid zero problems..
Looks like a well built product. came with a bunch of game I don't use.
I'm not a gamer.

You get a pretty box...

BIOS images? How often do you need to do that? I've never had to
flash a video card bios.

Er... 5950? In the next 60days, the new cards will be out... twice
as fast for the same price $400~500.

I have an XFX 5900XT (only $190!) and love it. As I posted in a
previous post, it OC's to a 5950 easily, although YMMV. I'm sure ANY
5900XT will OC to at least 5900 speeds.

The XFX software bundle isn't anything grand (oldies...came with Ghost
Recon, Comanche4, a couple racing games), and their drivers are just
straight from nVIDIA, but it's a nice, inexpensive card.

You might want to look around their forums for more input at:
