Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>dcameras (more info?)

Does anyone know if the new canon sd550 has some kind of indicator for
battery life. I remember the S500 had no indicator telling you how much
battery power is left. I was wondering if Canon fixed this oversight??

Also, can anyone say whether the SD550 takes better pictures than the s500?

How about red eye? The S500 was terrible. How is the sd550?
