Post subject: New card question
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>ati (more info?)

Hi all.
I am thinking of purchasing an Asus AX800 XT/TVD card based on the ATI
Radeon X800 XT Platinum processor.
I have a Gigabyte K8NNXP motherboard with a AMD 64 3200+ CPU.
The question is, will this video card fit in this motherboard?
I tried to fit a Asus Geforce 4 card in it a while ago and found the
heatsink and fan could not get past the springy white card holder thing on
the AGP slot and if it could get past that it might not have got past the
chipset heatsink and fan.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Mark

I don't see any reason why the card wouldn't fit in.It's designed to fit
into any AGP 4x/8x motherboard.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Hi Glitch.
I am thinking the same, All the ATI cards look the same as far as heatsink
and fan go so I am going to get it and see.
